Mava plantation of 1726 hectares was purchased in 2015 and spans the upper and lower Sambirano valley of Madagascar. The MAVA plantation includes 8 farms offering different terroir cacao with own unique flavour profiles - Ankidony, Ambalahonko, Ambohimena Nord, Ambohimena Sud, Antsamala, Maliolo, Ambodivato and Ottange. Farmers are led by Madame Hanta Rajaonera of the Ramanandraibe family.

Antsamala
A spicy single farm "terroir" cacao, vanilla aromas, woody with light floral notes, chocolaty and without acidity.
Maliolio
A tropical single farm "terroir" cacao with acidity, coffee aromas, caramel, honey and coconut.

Ottange
A slightly tangy single farm "terroir" cacao with hints of yello fruits, honey, roasted nuts and leather. In 2017 Mava Ottange wins the Cocoa of Excellence Awards at the Salon du Chocolat Paris in October 2017.

A slightly tangy single farm terroir cacao with tobacco aromas, milky and chocolatey. Citrus aromas.
Ankidony
A single farm terroir cacao with orange aromas, slightly tangy and moderately chocolatey.
Ambalahonko
A tangy single farm terroir cacao with aromas of cedar, green beans and lemon.
Ambohimena Sud
A sweet single farm terroir cacao, aromas of caramel, fruit rinds and moderately chocolaty.
